Zazen Boys return after 12 years with Rando! They sound tighter than ever and more dialed in. Rando feels super groovy and funky. The song have sway and flow. The tone of the bass and guitar are phenomenal. Rando is a record that gets me grooving quick and keeps a prolonged back n forth jam. The instrumental clashing and combinations are too catchy it keeps me dancing. Barracuda is a great example of a song that has a crazy style. The guitar on Barracuda is flashy and choppy, with bursts of drumming, and a stamping bass line. Rando as a whole just screams style and sounds iconic. Many of the songs have strong sonic sound and punch that is very satisfying to the ear. The way that the record flows keeping a style of its own while fluctuating between various sounds in the rock spectrum is awesome.
